Our site offers a learning atmosphere that is entertaining and different from others found on the net. Though there are several sites available on the web that contain introductory information regarding coffee, there are none, to our knowledge, that address a combination of introductory and advanced materials, thereby making it suitable to all audiences. Our website was developed to act as an educational resource with the primary goal of improving coffee appreciation through a wide range of instructive techniques. There are over 80 pages of information, over 150 photos, and over 15 interactions about coffee. Introductory topics include the science of coffee, the coffee plant and its development, harvesting, processing, health, and coffee reading. In addition, several advanced topics such as global and social issues related to coffee, sustainability, farming and agriculture, coffee genetics, politics, the coffee market, and more, are covered.
